Bruker timsTOF Pro 2

The newly upgraded timsTOF Pro 2 revolutionizes bottom-up or shotgun proteomics by using Parallel Accumulation Serial Fragmentation (PASEF)  technology in a dual Trapped Ion Mobility Spectrometry (TIMS) device to vastly increase speed and depth of data acquisition of biological experiments.  Mass to charge ratio is measured with a Time-of-Flight (TOF) detector, providing high speed and sensitivity.  Coupled with the nanoElute HPLC for sample separation and analyzed with PEAKS software by Bioinformatics technologies, there is potential to identify thousands of proteins, as well as post translational modifications (PTMs), from a single 200 nanogram injection.
